2. Does the key seem to not work when you come back after being away? It is a common occurrence when letting your computer sleep. What is happening is this, your computer sleeps and puts all programs in a standby mode. When it wakes, it wakes the OS first, then programs, then finally applications and extensions of the programs. So ProKitchen wakes and looks for the key which is an extension, and it has not been woke yet. So ProKitchen does not find the key, and gives you an error message. The only way around it is to 1) not let your computer sleep (bad idea) 2) turn off ProKitchen before you leave for long periods. This is a normal function and there is nothing wrong with your key.
3. If that doesn’t work follow the instructions below:
We need to update your Hardware Key driver. Please download this driver http://www.sendspace.com/pro/dl/qj2hpt Once downloaded, with your Hardware Key plugged in, and ProKitchen closed, you will need to extract all files (right clicking on the icon should bring up a menu with that option). Once extracted, double click on HASP_SRM_Runtime_setup. Follow on screen directions to complete the installation. Now click on this link to test the key, http://localhost:1947/_int_/devices.html It should open HASP License Manager Admin Control Center. Here you should see your key. If you click the ‘Blink On’ button, your Hardware Key should blink. Turn Blink Off and close the window. If the test link will not open, don’t worry, do the ultimate test and open ProKitchen.
